| "I
have just completed my 34th year working with high school
theatre. I spent nineteen years at Floyd Central High School in
Floyd Knobs, Indiana before moving to the Las Vegas Academy. I also
spent two years as the Marketing Director for the Theatre Department at
the University of Evansville. I have been active with the International
Thespian Society for many years, serving as a sponsor, State Director,
Regional Director, and many other positions. During my career I have
directed nearly 150 productions, of which twelve have been selected as
main stage presentations for the International Thespian Festival. I
consider my greatest honor as being selected to direct the National
Cast production of Ragtime, School Edition for Thespian Festival 2005.
I have recently been elected to the Educational Theatre Association’s
Hall of Fame. I have been married to my incredibly understanding wife
Jean for thirty-eight years. We have two grown daughters, Jenni and
Ellie, both successful in their respective careers. Our oldest daughter
Jenni and her husband Grant are expecting our first grand child in
September 2009. |
